武钢硅钢事业部一批宽度为<st1:chmetcnv w:st=\"on\" tcsc=\"0\" numbertype=\"1\" negative=\"False\" hasspace=\"False\" sourcevalue=\"1208\" unitname=\"毫米\">1208毫米的薄规格高牌号无取向硅钢交付客户，产品创下武钢最大宽幅硅钢片的生产纪录，生产能力达世界先进水平。
年初，华南一家空调企业向武钢求购宽幅薄规格高牌号无取向硅钢。此前，武钢宽幅硅钢片成品宽度一般为<st1:chmetcnv w:st=\"on\" tcsc=\"0\" numbertype=\"1\" negative=\"False\" hasspace=\"False\" sourcevalue=\"1000\" unitname=\"毫米\">1000毫米左右。空调生产企业一般都要对硅钢片进行切割分条，每条宽度为<st1:chmetcnv w:st=\"on\" tcsc=\"0\" numbertype=\"1\" negative=\"False\" hasspace=\"False\" sourcevalue=\"300\" unitname=\"毫米\">300毫米，如果宽度为<st1:chmetcnv w:st=\"on\" tcsc=\"0\" numbertype=\"1\" negative=\"False\" hasspace=\"False\" sourcevalue=\"1000\" unitname=\"毫米\">1000毫米的原料，分3条后会出现<st1:chmetcnv w:st=\"on\" tcsc=\"0\" numbertype=\"1\" negative=\"False\" hasspace=\"False\" sourcevalue=\"100\" unitname=\"毫米\">100毫米的余损，如果宽度达到<st1:chmetcnv w:st=\"on\" tcsc=\"0\" numbertype=\"1\" negative=\"False\" hasspace=\"False\" sourcevalue=\"1208\" unitname=\"毫米\">1208毫米，正好可以分成4条。
由于该钢种含硅量高、成品厚度薄，对热轧、硅钢冷轧、酸洗以及热处理要求极为严格，生产难度大。武钢在冶炼、热轧、硅钢生产等几十道工序中，逐一攻克含硅量高、加热难度大等20多项技术难题，生产出超宽幅硅钢片，并具备批量生产能力。
